ABOUT ME

How I started teaching

One day after work I stumbled into my local library and noticed a 3D printer. I thought to myself how cool! I asked the librarian for more information and discovered they had a need for someone to help get the community up to speed on technology. I was up for the challenge — and the rest is history!

What I enjoy about teaching

To me, there is nothing more satisfying then seeing that "ah ha" expression on someone's face when that concept they've been trying to learn finally clicks. I really enjoy learning and then teaching what I've learned to others. Learning new things gives me a feeling of excitement and joy, and I want to bring those same feelings to others. 

What I enjoy beyond teaching

When I'm not working on my own projects, I love to be outdoors. I am a mountain biker, snowboarder, hiker, and runner. I've also got a four legged running and hiking partner — my dog Molly. I love trying new recipes and visiting new places.
