Design and 3D Print your way to the finish line!

Ready? Set? Roll!

In this three-part workshop teams build their very own 3D printed pinewood derby car. We start off by discussing what makes a fast car, and work together on a starter design. Teams are given time to work on their car with assistance from me, and then we race! The winners take home 3D printed trophies. 

This workshop is designed for families to participate in and work together, although teams of any kind are welcome! The competitive aspect of this program tends to unite teams and build comradery as you learn engineering principles and a new technological skill. As always, no prior knowledge required!
