One day after work I stumbled into my local library and noticed a 3D printer. I thought to myself how cool! I asked the librarian for more information and discovered they had a need for someone to help get the community up to speed on technology. I was up for the challenge — and the rest is history!

To me, there is nothing more satisfying then seeing that "ah ha" expression on someone's face when that concept they've been trying to learn finally clicks. I really enjoy learning and then teaching what I've learned to others. Learning new things gives me a feeling of excitement and joy, and I want to bring those same feelings to others. 

When I'm not working on my own projects, I love to be outdoors. I am a mountain biker, snowboarder, hiker, and runner. I play in an adult kickball league and I love trying new recipes and visiting new places.
